November 4 – First Geese
First geese of the season, finding their pond. By January, the ponds near the school will be full of them.

September 29 – Deer & I Watching the Sunset
Wade came running in the house saying, “Get your camera and come outside. The sun set is totally awesome tonight”. So I did.
When I pulled up the pictures online, I saw the deer standing on the ridge watching.

September 14 – Mountain Lion
Looks like we’ve got new neighbors in the Maxell Natural Area. It doesn’t appear as though the sign has deterred any joggers or pet-walkers, yet.
Maybe I should think about a hiking stick.
