January 18 – Another neighborhood cat

Just another free-range neighborhood cat.
Sad news on aanother side of the neighborhood cat front.
On our walk today we found this little guy from last week by the side of the road. He had been hit by a car.

On our walk today we found this little guy from last week by the side of the road. He had been hit by a car.

This guy likes to go on the family walk. Mom, kids, dogs on leads and behind them all, follows cat.
He was having a bit of fun hiding behind the rock then attacking one of the dogs.

What didn’t come out so well in the picture were the streams of tinsel flying off the tree as the car drove along.

If you look closely through the window to the left, you’ll see Halloween pumpkins hanging from a coat rack.
These have run all day& night, for at least the last couple of weeks.

This guy spends all his time in the neighbor’s front yard. Better get working Santa!

We put 28 miles a day driving Cody to school. This week we’ve also been driving Cole as it’s been too cold to bike.

I mean cold, like below zero cold. Everything is so crunchy.

Our neighbor dog keeps us up on what’s going on each day.
When someone she knows with treats is walking by.
When strangers are on the path.
When she recognizes a car from the neighborhood.
The only time she doesn’t bark to alert us, is when the other dogs in the neighborhood are barking away.
