Since we had watched fireworks in Sebastopol, we headed for home. One hour into the drive, we saw signs for the Jelly Belly Factory. Even the pizza & burgers were jelly bean shaped!

September 29 – Deer & I Watching the Sunset

Wade came running in the house saying, “Get your camera and come outside. The sun set is totally awesome tonight”. So I did.

When I pulled up the pictures online, I saw the deer standing on the ridge watching.

September 24 – Riverbend Ponds

It was dead still after we dropped Cody off at school and headed to the Riverbend Ponds Natural Area.

The morning sun was bright and the clouds to the west make this picture look as though I had run it through the tiltshiftmaker.

I didn’t.

Further along where the trail follows the Poudre River, we happened upon a couple of mink (I checked the CO DNR site to be sure) playing. I wish I could have been fast enough to get a picture. Mink are not something you see everyday.
