august 2 – Grandma Monster’s cookies


The crepe line was the longest one at the Vail Farmer’s Market. Mine had spinach, tomatoes, salmon and something else yummy.
Looking at the photo more closely now, I’m hoping that guy had only been touching crepes all day.

Actually, just the fruit. And a happy spoon. (He’s happy because he has brown sugar on his face!)

Since we had watched fireworks in Sebastopol, we headed for home. One hour into the drive, we saw signs for the Jelly Belly Factory. Even the pizza & burgers were jelly bean shaped!

and one delightful five year-old.

No boxes were opened in the making of this tasty meal!
That’s right, it’s homemade.
