Cody wanted to make homemade pretzels. “Like they sell at Target, with the cinnamon and sugar.” I believe is a quote. I turned to my trusty Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day book.
The pretzels are large, a little doughy, but the kids like them. We used the same dough to make bagels, but should have checked the ABFMaDay website. We would have found this listed under “Errors”:
Page 123 (Bagels): In step 5 the oven should be set to 450 degrees not (400 degrees).
That might explain the goo-iness factor of the bagels.
At least the Vikings won.
