This is the art installation hanging from the ceiling of the Council Tree branch of the local library. The library opened today and was PACKED! I couldn’t find info on the artist and will add it in the future.
Yesterday, the whopper arrived – the biggest storm all winter. It was icy, Fort Collins got over a foot in snow, and they sent the kids home at 11am. Today was a “snow day”. Looks rough out, doesn’t it?

Thanks to the book Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day, we have fresh bread in my house several times a week. This batch has been the best ever. (The heel was devoured before I could even get a picture!)
At one point, Spring Creek in Fort Collins widens enough to accommodate small boats. These boys were having a great time in the 70+ degree weather! I love the one boy’s straw hat.
